Clinical Hypnotherapy is the use of hypnosis which can be described as being in a natural state called trance to aid change in the form of personal development, resolving issues and self healing. Hypnosis is used to make changes at a deeper level, especially changes around thoughts and behaviours that we know we are doing, that we don't want to do but do them anyway and feel powerless in preventing ourselves from doing them.

It utilises the trance state to access both the unconscious mind and the untapped resources that meet your current needs.

Examples of trance: daydreaming, being completely absorbed in a good book or film, or the experience you can have driving down the motorway.

 

What will I experience? The experience of trance is different for each person but you always remain in control. You will be aware of what is happening to somedegree.Some people are aware of everything that is going on and experience it as daydreaming. Many experience a deeper state similar to a half remembered dream. Whatever your experience, the work we do together will have the same effect, your unconscious mind is much more active and it checks what is said before believing it, it is always looking after you, and it chooses whether it would like it to be true allowing you to make positive changes easily and naturally.
